National Nutrition Month 2016

March is National Nutrition Month. It started off as a week-long event back in March 1973. National Nutrition Week became National Nutrition Month back in 1980. The purpose of this event is to promote optimal well-being and nutrition to people of all ages. It also aims to promote physical activity. The 2016 theme of National Nutritional Month is “Savor The Flavor Of Eating Right.” This theme encourages people to appreciate the great flavors of food and appreciate the pleasures of it.
